KU Players Weigh In on the Benefits of Holding a Practice at Arrowhead Stadium
A Unique Experience
For the Kansas Jayhawks football team, practicing at Arrowhead Stadium was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The opportunity to play on the same field as their NFL heroes was a dream come true for many of the players.
“It was surreal,” said senior quarterback Carter Stanley. “I grew up watching the Chiefs play here, so to be able to actually step onto the field and practice was an amazing feeling.”
A Boost for Team Unity
In addition to being a memorable experience, practicing at Arrowhead Stadium also helped to build team unity. The players were able to bond together in a shared experience, and they learned how to work together as a team in a new environment.
“It was a great team-building experience,” said junior linebacker Joe Dineen. “We had to come together and communicate well in order to be successful.

“The atmosphere was electric,” said senior wide receiver Devonta Jason. “It really helped us to get into game mode and to execute our plays at a high level.”
